My Role
Duet was my invention and I was responsible for every aspect of the product; securing funding, technical architecture, roadmapping, commercialization strategy, pricing, branding, and marketing. Once funding was established, I built a cross-functional team to deliver on the vision. Since time to market was a concern, I quickly hired 3 internal members and enrolled an offshore partner to suppliment the team. The team worked across the globe in a traditional SCRUM that proved to be very effective after the first few sprints.
The product utilized many cutting-edge technologies to accomplish a user experience that was ground breaking for the industry.
By the release of version 2, Duet was able to reduce the time to insight by 90% while enabling non-technical teams to explore data in a way that was previously impossible.
